"In Norse mythology, a valkyrie is a female figure who decides which soldiers die in battle and which live. Selecting among those who die in battle, the valkyries bring their chosen ones to the afterlife, Walhalla, ruled over by the god Odin. Valkyries also appear as lovers of heroes and other mortals, where they are sometimes described as the daughters of royalty, and sometimes connected to swans or horses."

"Gaia was the goddess or personification of Earth in ancient Greek religion, one of the Greek primordial deities. Gaia was the great mother of all: the heavenly gods, the Titans and the Giants were born from her union with Uranus (the sky), while the sea-gods were born from her union with Pontus (the sea). Her equivalent in the Roman pantheon was Terra."

"I was inspired by the story of Red Riding Hood. Red Riding hood has always been one of my favorite fairy tales, and I wondered what it would be like if it was more romantic... (I love wolves, so it made me sad when the wolf was killed. In this version, no wolves will be killed! )"
